Lake City Middle School

Athletics play an integral role in the Lake City Middle School experience. They are an extension of our classrooms where growth transpires; where our students continue to learn about hard work, perseverance, and dedication toward a goal. They are about supporting and sacrificing for a team; about competing with character to bring out the best in yourself, your teammates, and your opponents; and about winning and losing with humility. It’s all about the challenge – one that we enthusiastically embrace.

LCMS is committed to offering students varied opportunities for extracurricular participation. The school believes that participation in extracurricular activities enables students to develop talents that may find little expression in the classroom. Extracurricular activities often require collaboration between students, rendering the process of involvement as important as the finished product. Because LCMS is a small school with a cohesive community, many students have the opportunity to assume a leadership position in an organization or club.
